PRESSURE DROP

LOW water pressure experienced in northern New Providence was last night said to be the result of a major water main rupture. Water and Sewerage Corporation officials explained that water supply to the area had to be decreased to allow repairs at a transmission main along Cambridge Lane between Blue Hill Road and Hospital Lane. Customers affected are those between the Highland Park and West Grove in the west and east to the Harbour Bay Shopping Centre area. The corporation apologised.
