Scotiabank major sponsor of junior regatta

MAJOR SPONSOR: Shown (l-r) are Clyde Rolle, vice commodore of the National Family Island Regatta committee, Leah R Davis, senior manager of marketing and public relations for Scotiabank (Bahamas) and Wycliff Albury, owner of Good News and defending Long Island regatta champion. When the annual National Family Island Regatta gets underway this weekend in picturesque Elizabeth Harbour in Georgetown, Exuma, Scotiabank will be one of the major sponsors of the junior regatta. According to Rolle, official races are slated to begin today with the C-class race, The Commodore Emeritus Cup, the B-Class, Governor General's Cup and the A-Class race and The Prime Minister's Cup. The races are scheduled to conclude on April 28 with an awards ceremony at 8pm featuring a presentation by the Royal Bahamas Police Band.
