THERE seems to be concern that paedophiles and other sex offenders cannot get "the treatment they need" locally because it is not available in prison or at Sandilands. However, let us not overlook a reasonably effective alternative treatment, which also has a fairly low rate of recidivism, and could be readily available at PMH - it's called castration.
