SIX people walked home richer than when they arrived at the Bahamas Humane Society (BHS) "Disco Night" on Saturday night. The annual fundraiser event served as the drawing table for the signature BHS Raffle. Winners took home round trip tickets to London, England, as well as cruise packages for the Caribbean and Mediterranean, among other prizes.
While enjoying cocktails and dancing the night away, BHS members and supporters brought the 60's and 70s back in a groovy "Disco Night" celebration at the Sheraton Beach Hotel.
The event raised over $6,000 towards BHS initiatives, while the raffle generated approximately $30,000.
