A YOUNG Bain Town man has been charged in connection with a murder that has been dubbed an 'execution.'

Sean Brown, 23, stood before Chief Magistrate Roger Gomez handcuffed and shackled as the murder charge was read to him.

It is claimed Brown, of Rupert Dean Lane, shot and killed 24-year-old Noel Roker on April 2.

Roker, who was known to police, was found dead on a pavement in Dorsette Street with multiple gunshot wounds to the head.

Brown was not allowed to enter a plea to the charge due to its nature, nor could he get bail as the court no longer has the option to consider bail on a murder charge.

He was remanded to Fox Hill Prison where he will remain until his Supreme Court trial is completed.

Before this, he will appear in the lower court on June 16 where his case will be forwarded to the higher court for trial through a Voluntary Bill of Indictment.
