ROADS were closed this morning as friends, family and police officers

gathered to pay their respects at the full military funeral of Assistant

Superintendent of Police (ASP) Andrew Deveaux.

His funeral is at 10am at New Bethlehem Baptist Church, Independence Drive,

Nassau.

From 8.45am until after the funeral service, Independence Drive, between

Baillou Hill Road and East Street was closed to traffic.

Additionally, from noon and until after the funeral passes, Robinson Road

between Marathon Road and St Michael Road and Soldier Road between Robinson

Road and Woodlawn Way and all side Streets will be closed.

At the time of his death ASP Deveaux was attached to the Police K-9 Unit,

Internal Security Division, Thompson Boulevard.
