FREEPORT - Police have released the identity of the man shot and killed at Garden Villas on Sunday.
He was 38-year-old Willie Noah Bethel of Fortune Hills.
Bethel, also known as "Willie Adams", was at Hearn Lane around 1am when he and several persons were held up and robbed of cash by three gunmen.
Bethel was shot in the upper body. He was taken to hospital, where he later died of his injuries.
His death is classified as the fourth homicide of the year on Grand Bahama.
On Tuesday, three persons wanted for questioning in connection with the shooting surrendered to police. Investigations continue.
