A message to strikers

EDITOR, The Tribune.

I AM sitting on a plane waiting to take off and we are already over an hour late...I can see the runway and no plane has taken off or landed for the last 10 minutes. What does that tell you!

Apparently the traffic controllers are on strike - a rumour - or on go slow - another rumour.

Quite disgraceful as there is a domestic departure lounge full of Bahamians and tourists - every seat is full and people are camping on the floor or standing. What fun to travel home for Easter or travel from abroad for a relaxing holiday. Last night my granddaughter flew to North Eleuthera and the charter had to wait for three quarters of an hour before it could move from its stand. The pilot told me it took him the same time to cross the runway in the morning. Go Bahamas Go - keep us all waiting but seriously as we say!

Come on Bahamians - for heavens sake get your act together and do not destroy the only industry you have. Get the politics out of life and we would all be better off.
