Benedict House victorious

St Bede's Primary School hosted its inter-house track and field meet at Thomas A Robinson Track and Field Stadium on Wednesday.

The meet was officially opened by former athlete and coach Evon Wisdom, who now heads the Sports Division in the Ministry of Education.

In his address, Wisdom encouraged the parents to continue to support their athletes as they try to become the next future stars for the Bahamas.

He reminded the athletes that they should always strive to be the best that they can be and that he hopes that one day they will be displaying their skills as they compete in the new Thomas A Robinson Track and Field Stadium.

The meet was won by Benedict House over Russell House. The meet gave coach Ricardo Freemantle the opportunity to view the athletes who will represent St Bede's at the Catholic Diocesan Primary School meet next month.
