The Team Bahamas trio of Chris Brown, Demetrius Pinder and Ramon Miller enjoyed an amazing start to their Olympic 400m campaign on Saturday morning, while Derrick Atkins impressed in the 100m.
All three qualified in the 400m with Ramon Miller second in Heat 2 in 45:47, Demetrius Pinder first in Heat 4 with 44:92 and Chris Brown first in Heat 5 with 45.40.
They will all take their place in Sunday's semifinal.
In the 100m, Derrick Atkins won Heat 2 in 10.22 to qualify. Warren Fraser just missed out in Heat 7 with 10.27.
