TEAM BAHAMAS will have two athletes going for Olympic glory in Monday's 400m final.

Chris Brown and Demetrius Pinder finished second in their respective heats in London on Sunday night to qualify, while Ramon Miller just missed out with a fourth place finish.

Pinder, running in Heat 1, had a time of 44.94, just behind Lalonde Gordon of Trinidad and Tobago.

Brown, in Heat 2, finished with a season's best of 44.67. Kirani James of Grenada was first.

Miller was fourth in Heat 3 in 45.11.

There will be no representation in the Men's 100m final, however, with Derrick Atkins coming fourth in Heat 3, despite running a season's best of 10.08.

Earlier in the day, Trevor Barry and Donald Thomas failed to qualify in the high jump. Barry finished joint 16th with 2.21. Thomas was joint 30th with 2.16.
