NINE people were injured in a traffic accident on Cat Island this weekend.
Two cars collided into each other while travelling south on Queen’s Highway, according to local police, who say that five of the victims received minor injuries.
The accident, which involved a silver Odyssey and a green Chevrolet van, occurred near Deans Road shortly after 5pm Saturday.
According to police, all passengers were from the McQueens settlement. Investigations are continue.
