Urban Youth: “Men Who Cook” Contest

THIS Saturday several Bahamian men with skill in the culinary arts will go head to head, to be named “Master Chef Bahamas”. The event is present by Urban Youth Development and will be held at Club Waterloo from 1pm to 4pm. It features “A Taste of Man’s Culinary Art”. For more information call 356-0672.

Forbes Hill Homecoming (Exuma)

Forbes Hill Homecoming activities include a souse-out on Thursday with DJ music, native dishes and bush tea, fishing on the rocks, marble shooting, needle and thread and straw plaiting competitions, hoopla, bouncing castle, sack races and lots more. Konshens will perform live at Charlie’s Night Club. Attendees will get the opportunity to see Dance Hall’s hottest artist live in concert.
