The children’s ministry at Christ Community Church started its evangelistic crusade for children today, Kidz Ablaze 2012, which will run until August 18.

“Kidz Ablaze” is designed to reach children through various activities and the word of God. This year’s theme “Digging for Buried Treasure” aims to show boys and girls how to have a personal relationship with the Jesus Christ and “still be cool”.

The event will be held for two nights, beginning at 7:00 pm each evening. Thursday is pirate stations and on Friday the children will search for buried treasure in a treasure hunt and from the word of God.

The crusade ends on Saturday beginning with a back to school prayer breakfast at 9:00 am and fun day, where the children will be engaged in various activities such as bouncing castle, water sports, face painting.

This year’s event promises to be spiritually uplifting, yet fun. This is a family event and parental support is encouraged.

Kidz Ablaze 2012 aims to reach the children of community by sharing God’s love.
