FULLY-loaded backpacks were the reward for taking part in the St Andrew’s Presbyterian Kirk’s Tutoring Programme ahead of the reopening of the school year.

The presentation was made by Reverend Bryn McPhail, Pastor of St Andrew’s Presbyterian Kirk.

Students were accompanied by administrators, staff, volunteers and district constables of the Bain and Grants Town East and West Urban Renewal Centres with whom the Kirk has formed a community partnership.

The backpacks, which were donated by McDonald’s, were then filled up with a variety of school supplies by officials from the church.
