IN an article published in The Tribune on Wednesday, August 29, Mrs Sylvia Poitier was incorrectly identified as one of two persons kidnapped by would-be bank robbers in Marsh Harbour, Abaco.
In fact, Ms Poitier was not one of the two persons involved in the incident. The Tribune apologises for any inconvenience this error may have caused to her and the bank.
The would-be robbers fled when the bank’s security alarm was activated and police arrived. Nothing was stolen.
