Student art displayed in 'Art Synergy' Exhibit

Art and creative crafts produced by students at Queen’s College High school were on display at the Art Synergy exhibition last month, connecting past, presents and future art enthusiasts at the school.

Seasoned artist Allan Wallace performed live painting demonstrations at the event, joining other alumni, parents and students at the event.

“Art is such an important part of the development of our young children. It is important to expose young children to art. Also at the high school level it is good for the students to actually meet and interact with artists who are making it in the industry. This opportunity was available at the Q.C. 2012 At Expo,” said Moya Strachan, head of the Art Department.
