Two teenagers in hospital after stabbing

TWO teens are recovering in hospital after being stabbed multiple times late Wednesday night.

It happened around 9:15pm in Pinewood Gardens.

Police say the boy and girl, both 17 years old, were walking through Sapodilla Boulevard when they were attacked by a group of persons and stabbed several times. 

The girl was stabbed six times, twice by the right ear, once in the left and right hand and in both shoulders.

The boy was stabbed once on his left shoulder. They were both taken to hospital by ambulance where they are listed in stable condition.  

Four women, ages 30, 22, 21 and 17, are in custody assisting police with investigations into this matter.

While on the scene of this stabbing, police received reports of another stabbing this time in the Carmichael Road Area.

Police say a 32-year-old man was in the area of Faith Avenue North when he was involved in an argument with a group of men.

He was stabbed multiple times about the body.

The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance where he is listed in stable condition.

Active investigations are continuing in both of these matters.
