Fire rips through home

FIRE officials are investigating a "suspicious" fire that destroyed the second floor of an Orange Hill home.

According to Fire Chief, Walter Evans, fire services were alerted to the blaze around 6am Tuesday.

"When firefighters arrived on the scene, in Orange Hill, they met fire issuing from the top floor of a split level, 16-room structure. As a result, several units were called and were able to bring the fire under control and extinguish it in about an hour's time. At this time, we are treating this blaze as suspicious."

Active investigations continue.
