A 25-YEAR-OLD man was arraigned in Magistrate's Court on charges of having sex with a minor.
Ranfurd Johnson appeared before Chief Magistrate Roger Gomez in Court One, Bank Lane.
It is alleged that Johnson had sex with a 15-year-old girl between Friday, December 30 and Saturday, December 31.
He was not required to enter a plea to the charge.
The prosecution told the court the case would be subject to a preliminary inquiry rather than a Voluntary Bill of Indictment.
The matter was adjourned to January 23. Johnson will appear before Magistrate Guilimina Archer in Court 10, Nassau Street.
He was remanded to Her Majesty's Prison until the completion of his trial.
