FORTY former Grand Bahama Urban Development workers contracts not renewed by the new PLP government. Former PLP Assistant Secretary General, aka political hack, and school cook promoted to run the Grand Bahama Urban Development because in her words "I come from urban."
Fancy that, impressive job qualifications indeed.
Next perhaps, school janitor, PLP naturally, for Head of Education. Why ever not, with his/her intimate knowledge of the school system, passing grades would no doubt become commonplace.

This is an insult to all the hardworking educated Grand Bahamians who went of and got a college education to find out that all you now need to be in charge or manage a program is to be Urban or come from urban? What an insult.
