Calvary Deliverance Church marks 30 years of ministry

CALVARY Deliverance Church, under the leadership of Bishop Vernal G Clarke and Elder Beverley M Clarke, will mark 30 years of ministry during Convention 2012, due to be held from July 29 to August 1.

The theme for this year’s convocation, ‘Jesus Cares’, which is derived from Mark 8:1-9, highlights the compassion of Christ during the miracle of the feeding of the five thousand hungry followers.

 This year’s gathering will feature local and international speakers including conference host, Bishop Clarke, Prophet Brian Carn of Jacksonville,  Pastor Valentino Williams of Life Changers Ministries International, Dr Anita Leach of Shiloh Abundant Life Center, Washington, Dr Tejado W Hanchell, Salem, North Carolina and Evangelist Carnetta Ferguson.

 Services will be held at 8am and 10.30am. There will be one mid-day healing and deliverance impartation service scheduled for July 30 at 12pm.  

Presentations on topical issues include labour relations in The Bahamas, a focus on education in The Gateway to The Future and Exploring Bahamian Culture.

Presenters include Lionel Sands of the Ministry of Education & Technology,  Harcourt Brown of the Labour Department and Dr Linda Moxey-Brown of the Ministry of Culture. The presentations will be conducted nightly at 7.30 pm.

Music will be provided by Calvary Deliverance Church (CDC) Sanctuary Choir and Praise Team; CDC Women of Integrity Choir and CDC Men’s Choir. Additionally, anointed dance performances will be presented by the CDC Fine Arts Ministry.

All of the services will be held at the church in East Street South.

Participants are expected from the Family Islands, the United States and the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Other invited guests and dignitaries expected to be in attendance are members of the foreign diplomatic corps and government officials.
