Review of PLP government

EDITOR, The Tribune.

CSME – I was under the impression in 2005 that any association with the proposed “single market concept” was thrown out by the PLP with the dirty bath water?

At a recent CARICOM Heads of Government meeting Minister Mitchell represented Prime Minister Christie who could not attend owing to his mother-in-Iaw’s sickness seems to have gone along with the majority reversing the Bahamas Government’s decision, a Perry Christie government in 2005. Search as I may I can't find any mention of CSME in the PLP charter so why did we seemingly vote for the issue? Referendum on numbers – call it PM set the date in six-weeks and get it over with...the longer you wait possibly the outcome might not be what you hoped for. What has it got to do with the resignation of Mr Ingraham which now could be in six-nine months time waiting potential candidate Gomez to qualify to be the FNM flag-bearer for North Abaco.

Nassau Road programme – why isn't any aspect being completed? It seems nothing changed on May 7th, except the players. Can't we finish any part not even half a mile somewhere?

Law courts – the FNM spends millions on purchasing the old BITCO Building now AG Maynard Gibson seems to be resurrecting her old project of a single building costing millions adjunct the General Post Office. Why? Things have changed, Madam, and money short. Stop PR posturing, Madam.

Accused of murder- AG says there are 400 at least, on bail for murder.....their day in front of the judge will be completed in 2056 surely we should hang our heads in shame! The accused also have rights.
