Members of world famous Dance Theatre of Harlem Ensemble will be in Nassau to conduct a three day workshop with high school students from June 18 - 2. While in the Bahamas the will also hold two events" a gala performance and a matinee performance at the Atlantis Theatre on June 22 and 23, respectively.
June 9 - Saturday
The Humane Society will hold a family night at Goodfellow Farms from 6pm to 10pm. The menu includes BBQ steak and salmon and vegan dishes. There will be a cash bar and a raffle with prizes for all ages. Tickets for adults are $50 and children under the age of 10, $20). The proceeds will benefit BHS. The Sons of Thunder - Pre Father's Day Concert will be held at All Saints Parish Hall, South Beach, at 7.30pm. Guest artist will be The Dicey Do Singers featuring Archdeacon James Palacious. The M.C for the evening will be Phillip "Mr Funny Man" Watkins. The proceeds will aid the outreach ministry for men and boys of The Bahamas. For more information call 477-2891.

The famous All Andros Crab Fest annual mega event features top Bahamian bands and artists, rake-n-scrape, the releasing of the crabs, a crab culinary contest, 'Crabs of Andros' life cycle display, a large display of local crafts and jewelry and food at Queen's Park in Fresh Creek.
