A 17-YEAR-OLD boy was in hospital last night after being shot in the chest.
The victim, of Yamacraw Hill Road, is in serious condition.
The incident took place at about 7.20pm last night.
The victim was at Yamacraw Hill Road when he got into a row with another man. He was taken to hospital by private vehicle.
Police are investigating.
In a second incident earlier in the day, a 23-year-old man was taken to hospital after accidentally shooting himself in the foot.
The victim, an employee of a business on Bernard Road, was getting out of his vehicle near Monastery Park at about 6.40am when his gun went off.
The victim was taken to hospital where he is detained in stable condition.
