FREEPORT - Two brothers were arraigned in Freeport Magistrates' Court yesterday in connection with a shooting at a nightclub on East Sunrise Highway.
Gihon Collie, 24, and Gibron Collie, 26, of Freeport, appeared in court three before Deputy Chief Magistrate Helen Jones.
The brothers were charged with two counts of causing grievous harm. It is alleged that on June 11 at Freeport, the accused men shot two men, aged 28 and 31, in the parking lot at Candies Cabana.
Attorney Carlson Shurland represented the accused, who pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The Collie brothers were remanded to Her Majesty's Prison until July 24 for trial.
