Forecasters are predicting flooding, severe thunderstorms and nine inches of rain in the Bahamas.
The Bahamas Meteorology Department has warned of heavy rain showers and periods of heavy thunderstorms from Wednesday afternoon through Thursday and into Friday.
Forecasters say the weather will lead to flooding in low lying areas, mainly in the northwest and central Bahamas.
Residents are warned to exercise 'extreme caution and protect their property.'
