THE Anglican Church Men (A.C.M) of St James Anglican Church Adelaide, hosted a major annual fund-raiser in honour of the late Fr Anthony Roberts.

Men from various Anglican Churches in the diocese participated in a grilling competition.

It is the usual for proceeds from the competition to be donated to a charitable organisation. This year the Cancer Society was the recipient.

The ACM branch of St James Church recently presented the Cancer Society of the Bahamas with the proceeds from the event.

Through the grill out, the Anglican Church Men honour the life of Fr Anthony Roberts who is dubbed as "King of the Grill" competition and steak out.

Last year's winners of the grill out were the branch of St George's Anglican Church, while Holy Cross defended its championship title.

The Anglican Church Men was started to enable all men of the different parishes to become involved in various volunteer activities within the church as well as in fellowship, support and outreach.
