POLICE are asking for the public’s help in finding two men responsible for robbing a man of his Toshiba laptop.

The man, officers said, was in the area of Lincoln Boulevard, near Cordeaux Avenue when he was approached by the robbers who were armed with weapons. A short time later, the men ran off with the victim’s laptop.

The robbery occurred at around 11.20pm on Saturday.

Police are asking anyone with information to 
contact the nearest police station.

A man, of Fifth Street Coconut Grove was also taken into custody after he was caught trying to steal a blue 1993 Nissan Sunny.

He was arrested at Sands Lane on Saturday at 12.30pm.

Police also said a man was being detained after officers of the Central Division found him in possession of an illegal pistol.

He was arrested by police at the intersection of Meadow Street and Hospital Lane on Saturday.
