Pic e-mailed

A private banking and investment operations supervisor at Santander Bank & Trust has passed the Series 7 exam, which she took in Florida.

Tamara Johnson has now met the education requirements for her to apply for registration with the Securities Commission of the Bahamas. The Series 7 examination is administered by FINRA (The Financial Regulatory Authority) in the US.

Ms Johnson has worked with Santander since November 2006, and said her studies had given her a better appreciation for the work she does on a daily basis. She intends to go ahead and do the CFA examination, having already completed stages one and two.

Ms Johnson trained for the Series 7 with the Nassau-based Nastac Group.
