EDITOR, The Tribune.

After days of seeking the Lord for myself, I have been asking Him the questions: Is Gambling A Sin? I wondered, What Would Jesus Do? Would Jesus buy numbers/gamble? I have been opened to watching the debates, listening to the talk shows, The Vote Yes Committee, The Christian Council and I also read what The Bible has to say.

What I gathered was that gambling is one of those things that is not morally right, like smoking. Done small or big, it has that harmful effect.    

 This week I finally got an answer from Lord. This is what He shared to me:  

“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil.”-Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

At the end of the day, whether the law is passed or not, God will judge us all.
