Pm Meets Religious Media Journalists

Prime Minister Perry Christie has met with visiting religious media personnel from across the USand Canada.The group led by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism’s deputy director for the religious market, Linville Johnson, visited Nassau and Grand Bahama on their recent trip.

The visit coincided with events marking the beginning of the Bahamas’ 40th independence anniversary, as well as the renaming of the Paradise Island Bridge as the Sidney Poitier Causeway.

The group’s visit also included People To People experiences in Nassau and Grand Bahama; a sightseeing tour of downtown Nassau churches; visits to Educulture – Junkanoo Museum, and Graycliff’s attractions; attendance at a church service; and Unexso’s Dolphin Experience in Grand Bahama.
