Under the leadership of Worshipful Master, Brother Selvyn Rolle, the brothers of St James Masonic Lodge #3, Prince Hall Affiliated, recently held a “Back 2 School” bash at the lodge grounds on Kemp Road.
The event primarily targeted school boys in the Kemp Road and Freetown communities where more than 150 school-daged boys received free haircuts and school supplies.
And, some 30 school girls received back to school supplies.
The Lodge partnered with Kemp Road Urban Renewal, which included Inspector Mather and other officers who assisted and provided back to school safety tips and guidelines to the children.
Mr Van Diah, General Manager at Bahamasair also assisted.
