Friday night’s action in the New Providence Volleyball Association featured The Scotia Bank Defenders topped the Crusaders in straight sets.

The Defenders won in three straight sets against the Saints, 25-17, 25-20, 25-18.

The Crusaders gave a valiant effort but the veterans and defending champions were too much to overcome, with the up and rising young star Kurtwood Greene Jr. scoring a game high of 19 points.

On the losing side was another up and rising star Victor Grant who scored 11 points in a losing effort.
