In the first, a 19-year-old man lost his life after he crashed his blue 90cc Honda motorcycle into the roundabout of Tonique Williams Darling Highway. Police sources have identified him as D’Chico Wesley Musgrove, also known as Chico of Coral Heights West.

According to authorities, at around 3.50am on Saturday, an anonymous caller reported to police that a motorcyclist had crashed. When police responded, D’Chico was unresponsive and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were called. They confirmed that he died.

Friends of D’Chico took to Facebook to bid their final farewells to the victim who one person referred to as “always a sweet person.”

One comment said: “RIP Chico won’t see you in Rolleville (Exuma) no more hope we meet on the other side.”

“Still can’t believe I won’t see you again,” another friend posted. “Sigh. Why? RIP honey. Sleep forever sweet.”

In a separate accident, a man was crossing the East Street South thoroughfare when he was struck by a silver Honda vehicle.

He died at the scene. Police did not release his identity. The accident happened at around 9pm.

Police are also investigating the circumstances surrounding a traffic accident that saw five women in what police called a serious collision at around 5.30am.

Two of the women were removed from the vehicle by RBPF Fire Services officers, police said.

According to police, four women in a Suzuki vehicle were travelling west on Shirley Street when they collided with a blue Avalon being driven by a lone woman driver who was travelling north to Hawkins Hill.

All of the victims were taken to hospital by EMS where three of them were last night in stable condition while the other two were in critical condition.

Investigators are urging the public to contact crime stoppers at 328-TIPS. They added that callers to the line will remain anonymous and maybe eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
