Clarification
• In yesterday’s Tribune Business, in the article entitled ‘Government revenue forecasts off up to 16 per cent’, it was reported that “at one point” during the recession the Government’s primary deficit hit $640 million.
However, this figure was not for one year, but a cumulative figure for the total primary deficits run between 2007-2008 to 2011-2012.
Tribune Business is happy to clarify the situation.
