Leading Effectively (Freeport)

A seminar for mid level managers will be held at Canal House, Pelican Bay from 9 am - 5 pm. Participants will acquire skills that will enable them to improve their performance within an organization. Seminar presenter: Zhivargo Laing. Registration: $75.

BHS - Operation Potcake Meeting

The Bahamas Humane Society invites members and the public to find out how you can make a difference and be part of this island-changing program at 6 pm at The Bahamas Humane Society.

The Chamber - Principles of Teamwork

The program covers the principles of teamwork using demonstrations and simulations to build communication, problem solving and positive engaging skills. Held in the main boardroom at The Chamber from 9am - 4pm. Investment: $129 (Members) $159 (Non-members) (lunch, workshop material and certificates included in the cost.)

Conference

Under the theme ‘Building & Strengthening Regional Ties’, the Bahamian Contractors’ Association hosts a regional Contractors Conference at British Colonial Hilton Hotel. It is open to all contractors and sub-contractors in the country.

October 20 - Saturday

“Slow Motion 4”

Warrior Sounds presents ‘Slow Motion 4’ HOLD ME BACK Edition at Charlies Club. Music provided by Fadda Warrior, TwoShort, DJ Bugz, DJ Payne, Mix-A-Lot, King Studda, Xtra Large and Selector Jimbo. There will be phone card giveaways every hour on the hour. Ladies in for 5 dollars before 11 pm and ten dollars after. Gents get in for 15 dollars, 20 dollars VIP with free food.

BIFF - “Big Screen Art Scene”

This bi-annual fundraiser will be held on board the 135’ Carrousel Yacht, Hurricane Hole, Paradise Island from 6pm to 10:30pm. Meet local artists while enjoying an art auction.

International Cultural Festival

The Botanical Gardens is the venue for the festival and there will be more than 100 booths, representing countries from around the world.
