POLICE have launched a search for a man said to have escaped from custody while in hospital.
Trevado Taylor, 24, of Derby Road, Yellow Elder Gardens, is 5ft 7in, has a medium build and a medium brown complexion.
He reportedly escaped custody at about 3.20pm yesterday.
Police also want to question him for burglary.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 919, 322-3333/4, the Central Detective Unit on 502-9991, 502-9910 or Crimestoppers on 328-TIPS.

You've got to be joking, I don't follow the news too closely but isn't this like the third or fourth time this happened in a very short time frame.

Absolutely ridiculous! The officers (whether they be hospital security or police) who are responsible for guarding these escapees MUST be held accountable. Criminals seem to always be one step ahead of them!
