Search for men responsible for recent armed robberies

POLICE are asking for the public’s help in finding the men responsible for armed robberies in New Providence.

In the first, police said a woman was robbed of her 2008 navy blue Honda Accord in Nassau.

The woman, police said, was approached by the robber while she was at Emerald Ridge at around 8.45pm on Tuesday. The victim told police that the man, who wore a white t-shirt and jeans held her up using a handgun.

Another armed robbery saw a man’s jewellery and cell phone stolen, police said.

The victim told police that he was at Chapel Street, off Market Street at around 8.30pm when the attack happened.
