POLICE are investigating the skeletal remains of a foot still encased in a shoe and sock found in Eleuthera.
The discovery was made around 9am yesterday by police at Governor’s Harbour beach.
The human remains were found inside a Converse tennis shoe and white Polo sock.
Police are also investigating an alleged suicide after a man was founding hanging from a door in his Exuma apartment.
According to reports, shortly after 5pm on Sunday police were notified of the hanging at Old Airport Road in Bahama Sound, Exuma.
The victim, a 54-year-old, was reportedly found handing from a bedroom door inside his apartment and was pronounced dead by a doctor.
