Erika Davis makes chocolate bars at Graycliff's Chocolate Factory yesterday afternoon.

FAMOUS for its restaurant and cigars, Graycliff is hoping for the sweet taste of success with its latest venture.

The historic hotel now has its very own state-of-the-art chocolate factory, creating Graycliff chocolate and truffles.

The Tribune got a taste of the new factory as it was unwrapped yesterday.

Visitors can get a tour of the factory with a chance to make their own chocolate sensations.

A retail shop is open to the public and children have their own area to play in.

Graycliff chocolatier Erika Davis is a well-known pastry chef from Chicago who has appeared on the food show Top Chef Just Desserts.

She worked at Ponte Vedra Inn and Club in Florida and established a pastry crew to wow guests and members with favorites such as Banana Rum Creme Brulee garnished with peanut butter croutons and Warm Chocolate Lava Tower with espresso truffles or gourmet donuts.

It adds up to a mouth-watering attraction which is expected to pull in the crowds and prove another big draw for The Bahamas.
