IN a “come back” episode, X Factor USA aired unseen footage from episode 11. Last week’s show was interrupted by a rain delayed baseball game, hindering the presentation of the 16 contestants advancing to the live shows.

The episode began with a short replay of the teens and Over 25s receiving their “yes” votes at the judges homes.
Ready to hear the worst, Paige Thomas was her usual emotional self as she shed tears before Demi even started talking. Demi told her she’s beautiful and she has star quality, just before revealing that she will definitely be joining the young adults in the live shows.

Jillian and Cece were also filled with tears as they awaited their fate. Cece was relieved to hear she made it through, although Jillian was not so lucky.

This was not an easy episode to watch for many X Factors fans, as all of the contestants shed tears, good and bad.
“Did Jillian Jensen just get sent home? When will these people give real talent a chance. She is a beautiful person inside and out, from what I can see, this is so sad,” said one viewer via Twitter.

Another viewer said: “I am loving Paige right now and I am so happy that she made it, I just wish for her to gain some confidence in her self. She is always crying even when she doesn’t need to be, that just may be the cause for her downfall. But one thing I am certain of, when America gets their chance to vote in the live shows, I am not sure if it is going to go in CeCe’s favour.”

Meanwhile over at Simon’s Miami house, the groups waited to hear the good and the bad news. Lyric 145, the rap trio that was formed by producers of the show made it through successfully. Dope Crisis did not. The trio group Emblem3 impressed Simon enough to advance. The girl group Sister C, “obviously Simon’s favourite”, according to some viewers, also made it through.
