WE’VE tallied the results, had them checked, added, subtracted and checked again. We didn’t dominate week one with our NFL picks, but then again we didn’t expect to.

This picks thing is a marathon, not a sprint...well that’s what I plan on telling myself as I hover around .500 all year. Too many week one storylines to cover, for now, we’ll just present our weekly awards.

The ‘Setup to Fail’ Award presented by Barack Obama’s First Term - Brandon Weeden/Ryan Tannehill

The ‘Something’s Just Not Right Here’ Award presented by Everything about Jose Canseco - Adrian Peterson’s knee...amazing

The ‘Least Surprising Result’ Award presented by Kristen Stewart cheating on Rob Pattinson - Niners defeating Packers.

The ‘I’ve Still Got Something Left in the Tank’ Award presented by Lil Wayne and Dedication 4 - Peyton Manning.

The ‘I Immediately Regret this Decision’ Award presented by the Bahamas saying no to Movado in ‘08...but yes to Eddie Long - Rex Ryan after stating in the preseason that Stephen Hill ‘wouldn’t have been my pick’...only to have Hill post five catches for 89 yards and two touchdowns in week one.
