Week two is in the books and, if the replacement refs allow it, we could be shaping up for an historic season.

At the very least it’ll be an historic season for John Gruden as he chases the record for saying the phrase “this guy” the most times for an entire season of Monday Night Football broadcasts.

Week Two Awards

The “Look Me In My Face” Award presented by Lil Wayne when he went in the studio to record “No Worries” - Eli Manning after throwing three picks in the first half against the Bucs and trailing 24-6. He ended up throwing for a career high 510 yards, three touchdowns and a come from behind 41-34 win. (#ManningFace)

The “I Apologise for Nothing” Award presented by Jamie Lannister the entire time he was held captive by the Starks - Greg Schiano’s Press Conference following the “play until the whistle blows” controversy in the loss against the Giants.

The “There are no Pacts Between Lions and Men” Award presented by Achillies, leader of the Argonauts and Greek Hero - Huge upset wins by Cardinals and Seahawks over two Super Bowl favourites Pats and Cowboys.

The “Unstoppable Force Wreaking Havoc Everywhere All At The Same Time” Award presented by the Smoke Monster from Lost - Clay Matthews and his 3.5 sacks (which felt more like 17) against the Bears.

The “Dammit, If I Had Just Kept My Cool Award” presented by Deputy House Speaker Dion Smith - Josh Morgan for tossing the ball at Cortland Finnegan on the final play of the Redskins’ potentially game winning drive. His personal foul penalty ultimately cost Washington the game when it turned a makable field goal for Billy Cundiff into a missed 62-yarder.
