SANDALS Royal Bahamian wrapped up a week-long radio remote on Monday that reached more than 30 million listeners across the Unites States.

The remote involved 24 stations from 22 cities across 20 states in the US. The radio DJs interviewed staff and management of Sandals Royal Bahamian, focusing primarily on the $20 million renovations of the property’s Balmoral Tower.

On the first day, chairman of Sandals Resorts International, Gordon “Butch” Stewart, made a surprise appearance to the broadcast site on the property’s Piano Bar Terrace.

The top station visiting Sandals Royal Bahamian was from New York. WCBS FM’s morning show hosted by Dan Taylor reached four million listeners.

The next 10 biggest stations averaged two million listeners each with the next 13 stations boasting to audiences averaging 500,000 each.

It was estimated that Sandals Royal Bahamian and the Bahamas was mentioned by the various radio personalities a total of 160 million times over the course of the week.
