Dignitaries gathered yesterday in Rawson Square to officially launch Sir Milo Butler’s biography “A Call to Service”, written by Patricia Patterson.

Celebrating his life and legacy, speakers described Sir Milo as “fearless leader” and “source of inspiration”.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Fred Mitchell said: “This evening, we record our history and we remember the struggle of a giant of man. The one who led the struggle to make us free.”

Among those present were Governor General Sir Arthur Foulkes, former Governor General Sir Arthur Hanna, Prime Minister Perry Christie, Foreign Affairs Minister Fred Mitchell, Minister of Security Dr Bernard Nottage, Transport and Aviation Minister Glenys Hanna-Martin, FNM Deputy Leader and Grand-daughter to Sir Milo Loretta Butler Turner and former Deputy Prime Minister Brent Symonotte, as well as numerous family members.
