WHILE Eagles Nest and Macedonia remained undefeated in the 15-and-under and 19-and-under divisions respectively in their clash of the undefeated teams, the only two undefeated teams in the men’s division are slated to meet on Saturday as the Baptist Sports Council continues its 2013 Basketball Classic at the Baillou Hills Sporting Complex.

The big 3pm showdown is expected to be between Men of Vision (5-0) and Eagles Nest (4-0). On Saturday past, Men of Vision pulled off a double header with a 62-30 rout over Golden Gates No.1 and they came back and held off St Mark’s 36-30. Eagles Nest got by Golden Gates 38-28 in their lone game played.

Meanwhile, in last Saturday’s games, the Eagles Nest (4-0) knocked off Faith United No.1 (2-1) in their 15-and-under contest between the two undefeated teams. The 19-and-under battle of the undefeated saw Macedonia No.2 (5-0) rout St John’s (4-1) 48-31.

Also this Saturday, there will be a couple of other interesting matches on tap as Macedonia’s two teams in the 19-and-under clash between the Eagles Nest two teams in their 19-and-under encounter at 1pm with Golden Gates men’s two teams meeting at 2pm before the big men’s showdown between Men of Vision and Eagles Nest.
