ATLANTIC Medical Insurance along with its partners, the Cancer Society of the Bahamas and the Bahamas Diabetic Association, encouraged every Bahamian to participate in the 15th annual Fun Walk on Saturday, April 20.
The walk will start promptly at 6.30am at Montagu Beach.
“It is always a great family and friends morning of healthy activity and fun,” said Darren Bastian, Atlantic Medical’s business development manager.
“We are gearing up for another exciting walk filled with a good healthy morning of exercise and surprises. We know you don’t want to miss it and we won’t want you to.”
If you haven’t signed up or have delayed in urging friends and family to do so, “now is the time!” Mr Bastian said.
He said all those who take part will be eligible to win prizes including trips, hotel stays and dinners.
Each participant is asked to contribute $20 and $10 for children. In return, all are issued a t-shirt, registration number, and a shot at the prizes.
All proceeds go to the Cancer Society of the Bahamas and the Bahamas Diabetic Association.
