POLICE yesterday confiscated nearly $750,000 worth of cocaine and marijuana when they stopped and searched a Kia Sedona van in the Pinewood Gardens area.
In the van, police discovered 42 kilos of suspected cocaine and 14 pounds of suspected marijuana.
The suspected cocaine has a estimated street value of $736,000, with the marijuana seized having an estimated street value of $14,000.
The police are currently questioning three men, 48, 39 and 27 in connection with the matter.
Preliminary reports indicated that Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) officers, acting on intelligence, went to Silk Cotton Street, Pinewood Gardens, where they stopped and searched the verhicle.
Investigations continue.
