A HOMICIDE investigation has been launched after a two-year-old boy was found dead at home.
Police have arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with the death of the boy who was found at home with injuries about the body shortly after 3pm yesterday in Allen Drive off Carmichael Drive.
The suspect was arrested at the scene. The homicide was reported by a relative.
Reports suggest that the little boy may have been beaten to death, although this has not been confirmed by police.
Investigations are ongoing and police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
